While rendering Service, the attitude of it being done for one's own satisfaction should not tarnish it. Service must be rendered as an essential part of the process of living itself. This is the real core of true knowledge. It is as core as brick and mortar are to a house that is being built. The activity of service needs the Vidya (true education) that can strengthen our resolve in purifying our thought, word and deed. Such Vidya and service springing from the heart is essential for the country's progress. -Divine Discourse, Vidya Vahini, Chapter VIII.
